Random find but pleasantly surprised with the hospitality the owner showed. I haven't tried the specialty sandwich yet, but already extremely happy with the service. The owner was gracious enough to give suggestion and even brought out tea for my husband and I along with candy for the kids while we wait for our order outside in our car. Can't wait to try how the sandwich tastes! Finally tried the sandwich and it meets all expectations. Great flavor and great balance of meat and veggies.

Five Star Sandwich Shenanigans at Sandwich House! If you haven't been to Sandwich House in Cypress, California, then you, my friend, are seriously missing out on a authentic Vietnamese experience. Excellent traditional Banh Mi with fantastic ingredients, and solid fillings. The service at Sandwich House is so friendly, you'd think they were all your long-lost cousins. Seriously, these folks make you feel like a VIP from the moment you walk in. The owner always ready with a smile, a joke, and a sandwich recommendation. The store is tiny, and has everything you need. It's crowded and filled with the tantalizing aroma of freshly made sandwiches. Lots of drinks and snacks. The only downside is there is no place to sit, so if you're planning on eating there, sorry, you're out of luck. In conclusion, if you're in Cypress and you're looking for real Vietnamese sandwich experience, look no more.

My sister and I stopped by at the Sandwich House and were met with the most amazing service and hospitality! Not to mention, the #6 grilled chicken banh mi was out of this world! We highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a well seasoned banh mi with the freshest bread and ingredients. P.S: owner was extremely kind and brought our order out to our car. Also gave us a refreshing jasmine tea and apple for free!

So I was on the way back from Long Beach a few days ago and found this spot! I ordered the Grilled Pork & Grilled Beef Banh Mis to go. The owner was a super nice guy that helped me and he did tell me definitely call ahead next time so you don't have to wait as long! He also gave me some dessert to try which was awesome. The Banh Mis were delicious and had fresh ingredients, will definitely be back for more in the future!

First time visitor. Located across from cypress college with designated coned parking spots. Upon entry greeted by friendly older Asian who inquired if it was my first time and proceeded to explain all their top sellers. He also suggested to call in just to avoid any delays. Went with the veggie avocado with extra veggies on the white french roll and beef stew. My damage came out to $30 for both and please note .75 charge for using a credit card. Sandwich was ok? Though large, the veggies weren't the anticipated pickled veggies or weren't very strong and plenty of carrots included. The bread was a bit tough to directly bit in and will make a note to ask for lighter on the mayo. There were not that many avocado slices in ratio to veggies to overall. The beef stew on the other hand was the star of the show. Came with tender pieces of meat, baby carrots, onions, and a whole lot of noodles that was deceiving. The owner suggested to warm up the broth for a few minutes as they do not warm up with the order. The owner packaged everything so neatly and included small treats in a separate container. Even gave a free jasmine tea for first time visiting. Would come back for the beef stew and potentially try another sandwich. Owner was welcoming and communicative and took time with each order. Very much an order ahead and pit stop in. Clean store with other snacks and goodies for sale.

It was my first time here and I will absolutely be returning! The man running the shop was so nice and welcoming. He recommended the #1 house special Bahn mi so that's exactly what I got. The bread was fresh, perfect amount of crunchy and chewy. The pickled veggies were so bright and acidic. Everything was so fresh and delicious! He gave me a free iced tea and included some sweet treat. Inside is a bodega vibe with assorted chips, cookies, and snacks. He said for next time to call ahead so I don't have to wait. I waited in my car and he hand delivered it to my window. Such a great experience and can't wait to try the other sandwiches!

The sandwich house is one of those local businesses that you have to try! The location is actually pretty small so to be honest didn't look like much but I was greeted by the most kindest cashier ! It seems that there might be a language barrier because I had a few questions and they struggled to answer it but overall super helpful! The sandwich and their coffee which I tasted was on point! The bread was on a French roll which was good and fresh overall check them out fam!

4.5 stars. I've had banh mi from a lot of different places but wow, the Sandwich House does something different. I've had this place bookmarked since forever but there's always a long line outside. Maybe because it takes them a while to make it. We were the only customers on a Friday afternoon. He told us it was a 15-20 minute wait, so we waited in the car. Then he brought out free iced tea and desserts to our car, which was surprisingly nice. Let me tell you, we devoured our house special and grilled pork sandwiches. I have no idea what he puts in it but wow! The flavor! Nothing like I've ever tasted from San Gabriel Valley or from Westminster/Garden Grove. The reason why I didn't give them a perfect 5 stars is because of the wait time, the price ($8.75 per sandwich), and very little meat in the grilled pork sandwich.
